Quick history
The game was released in February 1999. It became a long-running series and commemorated its 15th anniversary last January. In July of 2009, it was officially recognized by the Guinness World Records as “the most sold trading card game in the world”. In June 14 of 2011, it’s the total number of cards sold already exceeded 25 billion.
The game was derived from a comic of the same name, which is also very popular in Japan as well as abroad.

The company has planned to launch commemorative limited box-sets this year, and two were already available on the market.
