Sakaiminato in Tottori Sakaiminato is a port city in Tottori prefecture. “Sakai” means “border” in Japanese, and “Minato” is “port”. It is famous for a Japanese cartoonist called “Shigeru Mizuki”. (“Shigeru” is his first name.) He grew up there.
